Im Jahr 1925 wurde das Rathaus in Maarn im traditionellen Stil von dem Architekten J. Pothoven entworfen. Vergleichen Sie dieses Design einmal mit dem Gemeindehaus der Gemeinde Woudenberg (1936). In den Jahren 1963 und 1979 wurde das Rathaus auf der Rückseite erheblich erweitert. Im Souterrain befand sich lange Zeit das Polizeirevier. Unter der Treppe waren zwei Polizeizellen. 2016 verkaufte die Gemeinde Utrechtse Heuvelrug, in die die Gemeinde Maarn-Maarsbergen 2006 eingegangen ist, das Rathaus und das Eigentum wurde horizontal geteilt. Drei Parteien sind jetzt die stolzen Eigentümer des Rijksmonuments. Die Uhr im Turm hat einen denkmalgeschützten Wert. Zur großen Freude der ansässigen Bevölkerung wurde auch der Trausaal wiederhergestellt.
