Die Westerschelde-Fähre ist eine Fahrrad-Fußgänger-Fähre, ausschließlich für Fußgänger und (Moped-)Radfahrer. Dies bedeutet, dass Motorräder und Autos den Fährdienst nicht nutzen können. Das Endziel ist Vlissingen auf der Insel Walcheren.
Der Bootstyp ist ein Katamaran (Tragflügelboot).
Dieser Dienst führt jährlich (2022) etwa 15.000 Überfahrten mit 600.000 Passagieren durch.
In der Hochsaison gibt es zu den Hauptverkehrszeiten jede halbe Stunde eine Abfahrt. In der heißen Nebensaison außerhalb der Hauptverkehrszeiten ist dies stündlich.
