eine der schönsten Fahrradstrecken laut dem ADAC! Von Alphen aan den Rijn folgst du zuerst dem Alten Rhein durch eine Landschaft aus grasgrünen Poldern und weiten Seen. Bei Katwijk weicht das Süßwasser der salzigen Nordsee. Zurück über Wassenaar nach Leiden, wobei die Innenstadt möglichst vermieden wird. Es gibt eine Fähre auf der Strecke (über die Zijl bei den Merenwijk). Umfahren über die Brücke ist hier auch eine Möglichkeit übrigens!. Schöne Strecke von 68 km. Start- und Endpunkt ist bei der neuen Maximabrücke in Alphen aan den Rijn.
