Urla ist eine türkische Kreisstadt mit 42.559 Einwohnern in der Provinz Izmir in der West-Türkei. Nach einer Gebietsreform ist die Stadt einwohner- und flächenmäßig identisch mit dem Landkreis.
Sie befindet sich 38 Kilometer entfernt von Izmir an der Straße nach Çeşme. Zu Urla gehören mehrere Stadtteile und 12 kleinere Inseln in der Bucht von Urla. Die größte Insel ist Uzunada. Die Ortsteile Urla Iskelesi , Zeytinalanı und Çeşmealtı liegen direkt am Meer. Auch die Buchten von Menteş, Gülbahçe und Balıklıova werden von erholungssuchenden aus Izmir zum Baden aufgesucht.
