This is a second basic version of "My Most Beautiful Route in Belgium," which mainly consists of the first loop of this original route.
The route begins in Boussu and Fagne. From Boussu to Chimay, it leads through gentle landscapes with some picturesque villages like Lompret. By the way, there is a beautiful terrace there (l’Eau Blanche). From Chimay, it goes with the RAVel to the largest lake complex in Belgium (Les Lacs de l’Eau d’Heure).
The main change compared to the original route is that this route goes up to the lakes. The section of the bike path along this largest lake complex in Belgium is particularly beautiful but sometimes sprinkled with small pebbles. In this case, special caution is required.
Climb: Côte du Bois de Cerfontaine (1,000m; 65m; 10%; +-70p). Remote climb through the Forêt de Senzeilles. Cotacol mentions the south side; my route climbs the north side.
