This walk gives you a taste of the heyday of Ghent's horticulture culture. We guide you along the first location of the Floralies, monuments to protagonists of Ghent floriculture and horticulture and disappeared nurseries, palaces and institutes. This walk was mapped out as part of the Flore De Gand project. This project is supported by IDLab, De Plantentuin and the University Archive of Ghent University and was realised with subsidies from the Flemish Community.
