The Friedrich-Schiller-Gymnasium in Königs Wusterhausen is one of the city's two high schools. It is named after the writer, philosopher and historian Friedrich Schiller.
The school was founded in 1956 as an extended secondary school in Friedensstraße. In 1970, the school moved to a new building in Schillerstraße, the current location. In 1977, the school was named EOS Vladimir Ilyich Lenin. After political reunification, the school became a grammar school and received its current name of Friedrich-Schiller-Gymnasium in 1994.
