Starting point of the route is the recreation area Neu Helgoland. Cross the bridge and immerse yourself in the wide landscape of the Hammeniederung. Follow the bright gravel path until you finally reach the first highlight of the route - the Breite Wasser. This extends over an area of 203 hectares between the villages of Worpswede and Teufelsmoor. In its center lies the eponymous body of water. Here you can not only enjoy the peace and beauty of nature, but also discover a variety of bird species. But the route has another highlight in store: the observation tower. From the platform over ten meters high, you can optimally overlook the Hammeniederung and also discover the moor behind it.
