Nature trail Lügder Schildberg

Our forest has many important functions: It protects the soil, provides water, ensures clean air, supplies us with wood, and is home to many plants and animals. The 4 km long nature trail conveys interesting and informative facts about the forest through child-friendly information boards. The stations stimulate the creativity and curiosity of children and take them on an exciting search for clues.

There is plenty to discover: Children can try out how to communicate with a tree, measure their jumping ability with the forest animals, and relax on the comfortable forest benches. In the process, children also learn why it is so important to protect the forest and what behavior rules should be followed.

Furthermore, the question is explored whether there are still witches living on the Witch Mountain and what the strange stones in the thicket are all about...
