Narzissenroute

Whether combined with the Eifelsteig trail or just for fun, the ‘Narzissenroute’ (Daffodil route) near Monschau-Höfen at the edge of the Eifel National Park is always a real hiking highlight; on it, you can explore the beautiful natural idyll along the floodplains of the Perlenbach and Fuhrtsbach valleys.
Wondering where the trail gets its name? In spring, thousands and thousands of yellow and white daffodils transform the meadows along the hiking trail into a colourful, fragrant sea of blossoms. We therefore particularly recommend hiking this route in springtime – more precisely, from the beginning of April to the beginning of May. And if you’re looking for somewhere to stop before or after your hike, the ‘Alte Molkerei’ bistro near the National Park Gate in Monschau-Höfen is a great option.
