Regional Park Route

The small regional train station in Werneuchen marks the starting point for a stage on the Regional Park Route "Around Berlin". From here, the route first follows along the road, then continues on a lightly trafficked country road through Seefeld-Löhme to Krummensee, where the first opportunities for a rest stop already present themselves. The tour continues on to Trappenfelde and Altlandsberg, where you will intersect with the feeder route to the European long-distance cycling path "R1". Following a short section of the "ZR1" marking, the route turns left onto a field path towards Strausberg, passing by the self-picking farm Wesendahl and the Wilkendorf golf facilities. In Strausberg, follow the signs for "TB", passing by the children's farm "Roter Hof", along the Straussee shore, and further south. While the "Tour Brandenburg" turns left towards Rehfelde, continue straight ahead and cross the railway tracks towards Hennickendorf. A detour to the Quail Tower is worthwhile here, offering a wide panoramic view of the forested and lake-rich surroundings with its 28 meters height. The path continues, passing by Stienitzsee towards Rüdersdorf. From here, the path winds along beautiful lakes to Erkner, where you can directly connect to the S-Bahn.
