Ravenel is a French commune with 1,071 inhabitants in the Oise department in the Hauts-de-France region. The commune is part of the Clermont Arrondissement and is part of the Saint-Just-en-Chaussée canton. The inhabitants are called Ravenellois. Ravenel is located about 31 kilometers northeast of Beauvais. Ravenel is surrounded by the neighboring communes of Maignelay-Montigny to the north, Saint-Martin-aux-Bois to the east and northeast, Léglantiers to the east and southeast, Angivillers to the south, Le Plessier-sur-Saint-Just to the west, and Plainval to the northwest.
