NationalTrails: Fred Welter Trail

The Sentier Fred Welter is a 22-kilometer long hiking trail in Luxembourg. The route takes you through the area around Müllerthal and the Little Switzerland, which was formerly known as the land of wolves. The region was difficult to access and considered dangerous for humans before 1879. It was only from the 19th century onwards that the area became accessible and attractive to visitors thanks to prominent visitors such as Joseph von Görres from Koblenz.
