The fantastic car-free routes of Haren-Haren wind through the unique Hondsrug region. The ice ages shaped ridges and valleys filled with prehistoric treasures. A landscape that is timeless. Since 2013, this area has been named the Hondsrug UNESCO Geopark. Prehistoric humans left their treasures for us. For thousands of years, people have shaped a landscape that is timeless.
You ride past heath fields, through forests, over cobblestones, over real hills, and between meadows. Everything that makes Drenthe so beautiful! You can expect a relaxed atmosphere and excellent support along the way!
On Sunday, July 6, 2025, the cycling classic Haren-Haren will take place for the 12th time.
You can choose from the following distances: 50 km, 100 km, and 150 km. For years, this tour has been rated by the NTFU with the quality mark 'Extra well organized'.
The 150 km is the ultimate challenge and crosses borders with a visit to Germany.
You will be welcomed like a hero upon your return, where you can chat on the square and enjoy music with a snack and a drink.
This tour should definitely not be missing from your list this year!
