The route starts at Hollandse Biesbos. Walking through the Helpolder and the Zuilespolder; along grassland, geese, grazing cattle, ditches, vistas, through forest and along the river.
The route also goes past Biesboschcentrum Dordrecht
Activities such as walking excursions and boat tours are organised from this visitor centre. You can also rent a whisper boat, canoe or bicycle yourself. But the Biesbosch centre is not only a starting point, the centre also offers exhibitions, a green shop and house café 'Biestro.'
Near the route is also the Mercury Observatory. There is a lot to do and discover in the field of space travel, weather and astronomy and you will get acquainted with science and technology in an understandable way.
