Merece la pena visitar el Camino Largo , situado junto al parque, y disfrutar de un agradable paseo a la sombra de las palmeras canarias .
La calle que une Las Cruces con Pozo del Cabildo tiene setecientos metros de longitud. Está flanqueado por unas 200 palmeras típicas canarias que tienen unos ochenta años (2024). Cada 8 metros el paseo se ve interrumpido por una pequeña rotonda en el centro, atravesada por una calle. En 1780, Don Fernando de Molina impulsó la construcción de este paseo, pero al superar con creces el presupuesto original aprobado por el Cabildo, tuvo que completar la obra con dinero de su propio bolsillo y el de sus seres queridos.
Este paseo es un atractivo turístico y por tanto es uno de los puntos visitados durante el Trail Nocturno de la ciudad de La Laguna, mientras que durante el día es un lugar de recreo habitual para las familias.
