La pensión Saint Jean-Baptiste de La Salle fue construida entre 1896 y 1898. En los años iniciales, solo había estudiantes alemanes. En 1914 se abrió para francófonos. En 1940 fue ocupada por los nazis y se alojó a parte de la Hitlerjugend. Más tarde se convirtió en un centro de acogida para niños de prisioneros de guerra. El 8 de enero de 1945, el edificio fue alcanzado por una bomba de fósforo. El edificio es ahora propiedad privada y en 1966 se transformó en apartamentos. El parque fue comprado por la parroquia de Grand-Halleux.
