La Torre de la Virgen en Zichem es un edificio del siglo XIV (1383-1430).
La torre también se llama Torre de Marca, Torre Lanteer o Vaso de Zichem. La función que tuvo la torre no está clara hasta el día de hoy. Podría haber sido tanto una torre de defensa como una torre residencial de alto estatus. La Torre de la Virgen podría referirse a una leyenda, mientras que un estudio de 1969 indica que la torre habría sido una torre de defensa. Torre de Marca (marca=límite) se refiere a esto.
Willem II de Gulik vendió Zichem en 1383 a Renier I de Schoonvorst. Su hijo, Renier II de Schoonvorst, hizo construir la torre. Su escudo de armas se puede ver en el primer piso. Alrededor de 1430, Renier vendió sus propiedades a Thomas II, señor de Diest.
Durante la Guerra de los Ochenta Años, la torre perdió entre otras cosas su puente levadizo y el último piso. Se realizaron restauraciones en 1865, 1903 y 2007.
