Ubicado en el este de Bélgica, el Parque Natural de las Altas Ardenas es el más antiguo del país. Este parque transfronterizo se divide en 6 zonas naturales, de las cuales 4 están en Valonia. En el noroeste se encuentra el 'Avant-Pays Fagnard' con sus vacas lecheras y bosques. Las cercanas Altas Ardenas son una zona de humedales única en Europa. En el sur se encuentra la alta Eifel con sus colinas boscosas y el pintoresco valle del Our.
