Elsenborn es un pueblo y una subcomuna en el municipio de Bütgenbach en los Cantones del Este belgas, con aproximadamente 950 habitantes. Hasta el 1 de enero de 1977 fue un municipio independiente. Es especialmente conocido por "Campo Elsenborn", un extenso cuartel del ejército belga a tres kilómetros del pueblo. Este es uno de los pueblos más altos de Bélgica; el punto más alto del municipio se encuentra a 635 m sobre el nivel del mar. El pueblo está ubicado en un entorno boscoso. Al noreste del pueblo se encuentra la reserva natural Schwalmbachtal. La subcomuna también cuenta con una amplia red de senderos y, en temporada, de pistas de esquí de fondo.
