Una vez que salimos de Bremweide, el paisaje termina de manera abrupta en dirección norte a la altura de Bisschoppenhoflaan. La única zona verde es la que está junto a Bijkhoeve. El valle de Kleine Schijn detrás está completamente pavimentado y no queda espacio para la naturaleza. La conexión con las áreas verdes en Schoten se ve interrumpida por la actividad comercial y el canal Albert. La restauración de esta conexión podría significar un gran valor añadido tanto desde el punto de vista ecológico como recreativo. Es uno de los puntos de atención que los futuros proyectos de infraestructura en esta área deben considerar, ya que son cruciales para la estructura verde en y alrededor de Amberes.
