Ciclar por la Heide te lleva a través del Parque Nacional Hoge Kempen. En este parque, vastos bosques de pinos y paisajes de brezo interminables se alternan. Con Ciclar por la Heide, esta naturaleza se te presenta en bandeja a través de la nueva conexión entre los puntos de ciclista 550 y 551. Pedaleas a través de la Heide de Mechelen, que con 700 hectáreas es una de las áreas de brezo más grandes de Flandes. La mejor experiencia en este trayecto es, sin duda, el puente de madera para bicicletas de casi 300 metros de largo, un faro en el paisaje. En la cima del puente para bicicletas, obtienes una amplia vista del entorno natural.
