El cantón de Zúrich es uno de los veintitrés cantones suizos. Zúrich, su capital, es conocida como la metrópoli más pequeña del mundo.
Zúrich es el cantón más poblado de Suiza, con más de un 1.200.000 habitantes. La lengua oficial del cantón es el alemán, aunque la mayoría de la población habla un dialecto alemán, llamado Züritüütsch, que es una de las variantes del alemán de Suiza .
