La estación de tren de Veitshöchheim es una estación regional en el kilómetro de la línea 7,0 del ferrocarril Main-Spessart de Würzburg a Aschaffenburg. Se construyó durante la construcción del Ferrocarril Ludwigs-West, que se puso en funcionamiento completamente el 1 de octubre de 1854. La antigua forma de escribir “Veitshœchheim” todavía se puede encontrar hoy en el edificio central de ladrillo.
La estación se construyó muy cerca del castillo de Veitshöchheim, una residencia de verano primero de los príncipes obispos de Würzburg y más tarde de los reyes de Baviera, en Veitshöchheim cerca de Würzburg. Es especialmente conocida dentro del complejo del castillo el jardín de estilo rococó.
