El Salze es un río afluente de la Bega en el noreste del estado alemán de Renania del Norte-Westfalia.
El agua, que originalmente se llamaba Solte, tiene una longitud total de 15 kilómetros. La cuenca se extiende por la zona noroeste de Lipper Bergland entre el Weser y el Werre. Nace en el terreno de la granja Kelle en Exter, cerca de la fuente del Mittelbach en la antigua comarca de Solterwisch. A diferencia de este, el curso del Salze se dirige hacia el suroeste en dirección a la Bega. En el kilómetro 13,9 cruza la autopista federal 2. Es recibido en Bad Salzuflen por la Bega, que desemboca inmediatamente en el Werre. Algunos mapas registran el Salze como desembocando en el Werre y la Bega desembocando en el Salze. El nombre Salze, al igual que el nombre Bad Salzuflen, indica depósitos de sal locales. El nombre del lugar Vlothoer Solterwisch significa análogamente pradera salina.
