Wegendorf es una localidad del municipio de Altlandsberg en el distrito de Märkisch-Oderland. Hasta su incorporación en 1997 a la ciudad de Altlandsberg, Wegendorf era un municipio independiente.
La localidad de Wegendorf se encuentra al este hasta el noreste de Berlín en lo que se denomina "área de interconexión más estrecha" de la capital federal, que en el habla popular también se conoce como cinturón de tocino. Geográficamente, Wegendorf pertenece a la meseta formada durante la era glacial de Barnim, que se cuenta entre las tierras morénicas jóvenes con típicas superficies de morrena basal. La altitud varía según la ubicación de la localidad entre 65 y 75 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Al distrito pertenece el asentamiento de Steinau. Un asentamiento vecino también llamado Steinau pertenece a Werneuchen y, por lo tanto, al distrito de Barnim.
