La iglesia de San Jorge es la iglesia parroquial evangélico-luterana en el centro de la ciudad de Nördlingen. La iglesia de estilo gótico tardío, construida entre 1427 y 1505, con su torre muy visible, el Daniel, es el símbolo de la ciudad.
El consejo de la ciudad de Nördlingen decidió la construcción de la iglesia de San Jorge el 17 de octubre de 1427. El coro de la iglesia de salón se completó en 1451, y en 1454 comenzó la construcción de la torre. El altar mayor de Friedrich Herlin se completó en 1462, y la torre en 1490. Con la finalización de la bóveda en 1505, se completó la construcción, que consiste en su mayor parte de suevit. Debido a que Nördlingen se unió a la reforma bajo Kaspar Kantz, San Jorge se convirtió en la iglesia ciudadana evangélica en los años 1523/1525.
