La iglesia de Santa Isabel es la iglesia católica romana en Tangerhütte, una pequeña ciudad en el sur del distrito de Stendal en Sajonia-Anhalt. La iglesia, dedicada a Santa Isabel de Hungría, pertenece a la parroquia de Santa Ana en Stendal, en el decanato de Stendal de la diócesis de Magdeburgo.
Con la introducción de la Reforma, la región se volvió evangélica. Con la construcción de la planta de hierro Eisenwerke Tangerhütte, que tuvo lugar entre 1842 y 1845, cerca del río Tanger y del pueblo de Vaethen, una gran cantidad de trabajadores se trasladó al hasta entonces principalmente agrícola pueblo de Vaethen, que se transformó en un sitio industrial. En 1928, el pueblo recibió su nombre actual, Tangerhütte, y en 1935 obtuvo el derecho de ciudad.
