El monumento arqueológico de los dos túmulos se encuentra en el Königsforst, entre el Mergelsberg y el Großen Steinberg, en el distrito de Frankenforst de Bergisch Gladbach.
Los dos túmulos se sitúan al sur del camino de la cantera, al borde de una pequeña elevación. El túmulo al este tiene una altura de 0,7 m y un diámetro de 9 m. El túmulo occidental tiene una altura de 0,75 m y un diámetro de 12 m. Ambos son discretos y apenas pueden ser reconocidos por el excursionista desinformado. Se desconoce quién estableció las tumbas y en qué momento.
