¡Único y realmente exótico! Directamente en la frontera neerlandesa, en el oeste de Münsterland, se encuentra la reserva natural Zwillbrocker Venn. El Zwillbrocker Venn está caracterizado por praderas húmedas, paisajes de turbera y brezo, así como lagos poco profundos. Mientras que en la zona anteriormente se extraía turba, la depresión se fue llenando de agua tras el fin de su uso, creando así un hábitat para aves de especial importancia a nivel europeo.
