El Municipio de Copenhague es el mayor de los municipios que componen la ciudad de Copenhague. Se encuentra en el centro de Copenhague y contiene el casco antiguo de la ciudad.
El municipio abarca 91,3 km² , y tiene una población de 539.542 habitantes . El alcalde mayor de Copenhague desde 2010 es Frank Jensen, un miembro de los Socialdemócratas , que es jefe del Comité de Finanzas. Otros alcaldes son Bo Asmus Kjeldgaard , Pia Allerslev , Anne Vang , Ninna Thomsen , Mikkel Warming y Klaus Bondam .[1]
