Morón de la Frontera es una ciudad y un municipio español de la provincia de Sevilla, en la comunidad autónoma de Andalucía. Situada en el sur de la provincia, es el centro de la comarca de la sierra sur y la cabeza del partido judicial homónimo.[1]En el año 2018 contaba con 27 844 habitantes. Su término municipal tiene una superficie de 431,94 km², una densidad de 64,66 hab/km², se encuentra situado a una altitud media de 297 metros y a 58 kilómetros de la capital provincial, Sevilla. Morón de la Frontera es el undécimo municipio de la provincia por su población y el séptimo más grande. Limita por el norte con el municipio de Marchena y con el de Arahal, por el este con La Puebla de Cazalla, por el oeste con parte de Arahal y por el sur con los de Montellano, Coripe y Pruna además de con la provincia de Cádiz.[2]
