Aldeanueva del Camino es un municipio español, en la provincia de Cáceres, comunidad autónoma de Extremadura. Se sitúa al norte de la provincia, en el valle del Ambroz, a mitad de camino entre Abadía y Hervás. La localidad más próxima es Gargantilla.Tiene un área de 19,70 km² . En 2020, tenía una población de 727 habitantes. La actual localidad, de origen romano, se sitúa sobre la Vía de la Plata y el Camino de Santiago de la Plata, y surgió por la unión de dos pueblos que había uno a cada lado de esa calzada romana: Casas de Aldeanueva en el Reino de Castilla y Aldeanueva del Camino en el Reino de León.
