Huesca [6][7][8] es una ciudad y municipio español, capital de la provincia homónima y de la comarca de la Hoya de Huesca, situada en el norte de la comunidad autónoma de Aragón. Cuenta con 53 429 habitantes , repartidos en una superficie de 161,03 km², con lo que es una de las capitales de provincia con menor población en España, en ella vive casi un cuarto de la población de la provincia. Celebra sus fiestas mayores en honor a San Lorenzo, patrón de la ciudad, del 9 al 15 de agosto.
