Loarre [3][4][5] es una villa y municipio español de la provincia de Huesca, en la comunidad autónoma de Aragón. Perteneciente a la comarca de la Hoya de Huesca, la localidad está situada al pie de la sierra de su propio nombre, en la carretera A-1206.
Situado en las sierras exteriores pirenaicas, el término de Loarre también incluye los pueblos de Linás de Marcuello, Santa Engracia de Loarre y Sarsamarcuello y los despoblados de Novalla, Liso y Jabarrillo. Se sitúa a 27 km al noroeste de Huesca en la carretera A-1206 entre Bolea y Ayerbe.
