Baztán es un valle, universidad y municipio español de la Comunidad Foral de Navarra, situado en la merindad de Pamplona, en la comarca de Baztán y a 58 km de la capital de la comunidad, Pamplona. Su población en 2017 era de 7736 habitantes .
El Baztán con una superficie de 373,55 km² es el municipio más extenso de Navarra. Está formado por la cuenca alta del río Bidasoa, que recibe en esta zona el nombre de río Baztán.
