El Aeropuerto Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat[3] es un aeropuerto español de la red Aena. Se encuentra 15 kilómetros al suroeste del centro de Barcelona, España, y a 3 kilómetros del Puerto de Barcelona,[4] entre los términos municipales de El Prat de Llobregat, Viladecans y San Baudilio de Llobregat a una altura de cuatro metros sobre el nivel promedio del mar. Dispone de dos terminales de pasajeros, una terminal corporativa y un centro de carga aérea. Es el primer aeropuerto en extensión y tráfico de Cataluña y el segundo aeropuerto con mayor tráfico de España detrás del Aeropuerto Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas. En el año 2012 logró situarse en el tercer puesto del ranking europeo y en el primero de España en cuanto a pasajeros de vuelos directos.[5]
