El Buen Pastor es una empresa láctea privada[4] cuya sede y fábrica están situadas en la localidad española de San Vicente de Toranzo,[1] perteneciente al municipio de Corvera de Toranzo , junto al museo etnográfico "El Hombre y el Campo".[5]
Fue fundada en 1920[1] por Ramón Ortiz Villota,[2] manufacturando en sus inicios mantequillas y quesos gouda.[4][2] En los años 50 y 60, El Buen Pastor se dio a conocer gracias a la leche en polvo,[4] que posteriormente daría paso a la leche líquida en botellas de plástico[4] y más tarde, en 1982, al tetrabrick.[4] En 1975 introdujo el método de ultrapasteurización , siendo la primera empresa española en hacerlo.[2][4]
