La plaza porticada de Riaza da comienzo a la suave octava etapa, que finaliza en la monumental localidad de Ayllón.
Tras callejear por Riaza, la plaza porticada, la iglesia de Ntra. Sra. del Manto y la ermita de San Juan Bautista, son un buen ejemplo de la belleza de esta localidad. Superado un tramo compartido, esta etapa se caracteriza por tener una pendiente descendente, se atraviesa un denso melojar que torna a encinar y finalmente a pequeño pinar. Después de divisar a la derecha la iglesia de la localidad de Santa María de Riaza, Ayllón supone el broche final del Camino Natural de la Cañada Real Soriana Occidental.
