En Portugal primero pasamos por la ciudad fortificada de Elvas, que es una visita obligada para una parada y una visita. La ciudad en sí, el fuerte, las murallas y el acueducto merecen una visita. Vila Viçosa es una ciudad de mármol, no más grande que un pueblo, pero con el hermoso palacio de los duques de Bragança.
