La estación imperial de Chambrey es testigo de la antigua frontera de 1871. Su aspecto monumental pretendía ser llamativo y marcar visualmente la nueva frontera. El edificio de la estación estaba en el corazón de un barrio alemán separado del pueblo. Destruida en 1918, la estación fue reconstruida de forma más modesta. El cierre progresivo de la línea Nancy-Sarreguemines provocó su obsolescencia. La estación se cerró en 1975 y fue comprada por el municipio, transformándose entonces en una sala de fiestas.
