Situado en Nay, a orillas del Gave de Pau, Atelier Le Soulor 1925 es una fábrica que lleva casi un siglo fabricando zapatos de cocer a mano. Creada en Nay en 2021 para ampliar su taller y su equipo, esta empresa familiar ha sido retomada por Stéphane y Philipe, verdaderos apasionados de este oficio del calzado de cuero.
En el taller, podrá ver las técnicas utilizadas por el personal altamente cualificado en la fabricación de zapatos de piel de montaña, de ciudad o de trabajo, con las diferentes etapas de fabricación: corte, ensamblaje, emparejamiento de piezas, montaje a mano, costura noruega y mimo. Este talento y saber hacer le han valido al taller la etiqueta Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Empresa del Patrimonio Vivo).
