Compuesta principalmente por obras técnicas de temática variada (herramientas, historia de los oficios, técnicas, bellas artes, obreros y escritores campesinos, etc.), la biblioteca alberga algunas obras muy raras y muy antiguas, como los 35 volúmenes de la primera edición de la Encyclopédie de Diderot y d'Alembert (1751 ? 1780) y la segunda edición del tratado De Architectura (los diez libros) de Vitruvio (1572 ? considerado el único tratado completo de la Antigüedad).
Una colección contemporánea, varias revistas de actualidad y puestos informáticos y programas especializados hacen de la biblioteca un verdadero lugar de aprendizaje y formación para profesionales y curiosos.
