Omagh es la capital y mayor ciudad del condado de Tyrone, en Irlanda del Norte, Reino Unido. Está situada en el lugar donde los ríos Drumragh y Camowen se unen para formar el río Strule. La ciudad tiene una población de 19 659 habitantes y 28 000 más viven en su área metropolitana.
Se cree que la ciudad surgió en torno a una abadía fundada en 792. En 1610, casi 150 años después de la fundación del monasterio franciscano, Omagh fue fundada como ciudad. Sirvió como refugio para los fugitivos del este de Tyrone durante la rebelión de 1641. En 1689, año en que tuvo lugar la batalla del Boyne, James II llegó a Omagh, en el camino a Derry. Los partidarios de Guillermo III, príncipe de Orange, quemaron la ciudad.
