Capel Curig es un pueblo y comunidad en el histórico condado de Caernarfonshire, actualmente administrado como parte de la autoridad unitaria del Borough de Conwy, en Gales. Se encuentra en el corazón de Snowdonia, junto al río Llugwy, y tiene una población de 226, reduciéndose ligeramente a 206 en el censo de 2011. Se sitúa en la intersección de la carretera A5 que va de Bangor y Bethesda a Betws-y-Coed, con la carretera A4086 que va de Caernarfon, Llanberis, Pen-y-Pass y Pen-y-Gwryd. Está rodeado de colinas y montañas, incluyendo Moel Siabod y Pen Llithrig y Wrach.
