El castillo de Cardiff es un castillo en la ciudad galesa de Cardiff. Fue fundado por los normandos en 1091 sobre el asentamiento de un antiguo fortín romano. Roberto, duque de Normandía estuvo prisionero en él por orden de su hermano el rey Enrique I de Inglaterra, desde 1106 hasta 1134. Escenario de importantes batallas a lo largo de los siglos, los galeses, bajo el mandato de Owain Glyndwr, lo reconquistaron en 1404. En 1488 pasó a manos de Jasper Tudor, primer duque de Bedford.
