Blönduós es un poblado y un municipio de Islandia. Se encuentra en la zona nororiental de la región de Norðurland Vestra y en el condado de Austur-Húnavatnssýsla.
El municipio de Blönduós se encuentra en el costado suroccidental de la península de Skagi. Tiene un área de 183 kilómetros cuadrados. Su población es de 904 habitantes, según el censo de 2011, para una densidad de 4,9 habitantes por kilómetro cuadrado. Su población más importante se llama a su vez Blönduós. Se encuentra en el costado oriental de la bahía de Húnaflói.
