Otranto es un municipio y ciudad italiana de la provincia de Lecce, en la región de Apulia. Está situada al sur de la península itálica, en la costa este de la península de Salento, sobre el canal de Otranto, que conecta el mar Adriático con el mar Jónico. En su territorio se encuentra el cabo de Otranto, que constituye el punto del territorio italiano que se halla situado más al este y que, además de albergar un faro, está considerado como el límite divisorio entre los dos mares que convergen en esta ciudad.
