La diócesis de Bergamo es una jurisdicción eclesiástica de la Iglesia católica sufragánea de la arquidiócesis de Milán, perteneciente a la región eclesiástica Lombarda. En el 2013 contaba 922.000 bautizados sobre 984.747 habitantes. El obispo actual es Francesco Beschi.[1]
El santo patrono de la ciudad y de la diócesis es san Alejandro. Los santos Paro y Rústico, Ambrogio, Gregorio Barbarigo, Grata y Nuestra Señora de Gracia de Ardesio son co-patrones de la diócesis.
