El fortín Civitella del Tronto es una fortaleza renacentista cerca de un risco sobre el centro del pueblo de la localidad italiana de Civitella del Tronto en la provincia de Teramo y sirve como una piedra angular para el control del territorio con funciones tácticas y defensivas.
El complejo de defensa es uno de los principales baluartes del Reino de Nápoles en la época del virreinato español y es una impresionante obra de ingeniería militar, realizada en territorio de la Italia medieval. En su extensión, es comparable con el fortín Brunetta, que los piemonteses construyeron cerca de la ciudad de Susa, y con el fortín Hohensalzburg, con el cual estableció una asociación en 1989. Los edificios abarcan aproximadamente 500 metros de longitud y un ancho medio de 45 metros, con una superficie de 25,000 m².
